The Change We Want was an exhibition project for a client which showed documented events from May 2020 when George Floyd was murdered. Through the stories of youth and their personal documentation, The Change We Want wanted to find a unique way to show how the youth perceived that time.

Through the use of collage there is a sense of mending and stitching together what was left after May 2020. Each collage displays a different perspective and the ways that people not only coped but used their voice to initiate change. We worked with many groups and collected their own experiences. Through their experiences they provided us a backbone that was used to preserve their perspectives.
