This project was for my father and I wanted to create something super unique for him because he brews his own beer. I wanted to have it be about something he really enjoyed which is running. Gonzo comes from a nickname he had and each beer label is about a marathon or a race he ran. I wanted it to feel super light and incorporate illustrations that weren’t too complicated. I didn’t want them to be complicated because I feel like my dad is super simple and it’s reflected in the designs. I wanted to create a cohesive branding for him even though it is mainly just for him.
